Dans cette vidéo de deux minutes diffusée sur Youtube, Chris Brown s'est excusé, lundi, envers ses fans pour avoir tabassé sa compagne Rihanna, expliquant qu'il s'était à maintes reprises excusé auprès d'elle. La traduction est de moi-même pour ceux qui aimerais apporter leurs corrections !

Chris Brown avait été arrêté en février dernier, s'étant rendu à la police quelques heures après une bagarre au cours de laquelle il aurait frappé, blessé et tenté d'étrangler Rihanna dans une voiture de location quelques heures après une fête donnée à l'occasion des Grammy Awards, auxquels tous deux devaient participer. Chris Brown a plaidé coupable le mois dernier, et sa sentence sera prononcée le 5 août. Il risque cinq ans de mise à l'épreuve et six mois de travaux d'intérêt général.

Dans ce message il parle de sa conduite "inexcusable", tout en soulignant avoir été témoin de violences domestiques dans son enfance: "J'ai été bien placé pour voir ce que peut faire la rage incontrôlée", dit-il, ajoutant être "aidé" pour s'assurer que "ce qui s'est passé en février ne se reproduira jamais".

Et d'expliquer qu'il aurait aimé s'adresser directement à ses fans plus tôt au sujet de ce qu'il appelle "l'incident", mais que son avocat lui avait conseillé de ne pas le faire.

Four weeks after pleading guilty to assaulting former girlfriend Rihanna in a February incident, Chris Brown has issued his first public apology in a video. Addressing the camera directly while wearing a simple red shirt, the singer makes statements including the following:

• “I’m not going to sit here and make any excuses… What I did was inexcusable.”
• “I wish I had the chance to live those few moments again, but unfortunately I can’t.”
• “I am very sad and very ashamed of what I’ve done. My mother and my spiritual teachers have taught me way better than that.”
• “I have told Rihanna countless times, and I’m telling you today, that I am truly, truly sorry that I wasn’t able to handle the situation differently and better.”
• “As many of you know, I grew up in a home where there was domestic violence, and I saw first-hand what uncontrolled rage could do. I have sought and I am continuing to seek help to ensure that what occurred in February can never happen again.”
• “What I did was unacceptable, 100 percent. I can only ask and pray that you forgive me, please.”

Tel un ovni dans le paysage du rap francais, leur but est d affirmer leur style de rap dans les oreilles, les boomers, et les ondes radios hexagonales. Avec un rap festif, tranchant, tantot denonciateur, tantot ambianceur, l eclectisme est le terme qui convient le mieux pour definir leur genre musical.

Leur objectif : devenir le pont entre le rap US et le rap francais. Car loin de se contenter d imiter leur pairs d Outre-Atlantique, les membres du So Fresh Squad font de l innovation leur principal cheval de bataille, grace a leurs textes, mais egalement grace au son puissant que met a leur disposition Young Pulse, leur architecte musical. So Fresh Squad, c est en quelque sorte l Entertainment US mixe a l effort lexical frenchy.

Leurs ambitions : "On travaille chaque jour notre style, afin qu'un plus grand nombre puisse le comprendre et le plebisciter. On peaufine notre formule secrete, en quelque sorte. Nous sommes sans cesse a la recherche de collaborations musicales, car nous considrons faire partie integrante du rap francais, meme si notre approche vis-a-vis de lui differe de ce qui se fait et de ce qu'on a l'habitude d'entendre.

The crew became an underground sensation within the metropolitan capital thanks to its several representations which have been nothing but success ever since.
