J'ai découvert ce mec et ses beats sur Youtube il y a un moment. J'ai choisi cette vidéo car j'aime bien la performance, Ronald Jenkees est vraiment doué sous ses apparences d'autiste !

Ronald Jenkees a commencé à jouer de la musique à 4 ans, lorsqu'il a reçu un piano-jouet pour Noël. Avec cet instrument, il a appris des mélodies simples et a commencé à jouer avec des amis. Encore jeune, il a reçu un Yamaha PSR-500. Il a ensuite pris des cours de piano, mais sans beaucoup de succès. Ronald Jenkees découvre comment séquencer la musique avec son instrument Yamaha, et commence à jouer du Hip-Hop. Il rejoint la fanfare au collège, et bien qu'il ne sache pas lire la musique sur une partition, le chef de la fanfare le laisse créer ses propres morceaux. Le chef de la fanfare l'encourage à apprendre à lire la musique, mais Jenkees continue à jouer à l'oreille.

Early life

Jenkees began playing music at 4 years old, when he received a toy keyboard for Christmas. Using this keyboard, he learned simple melodies and played with friends. While still at a young age, he received a Yamaha PSR-500. He attempted piano lessons in the seventh grade, but these were unsuccessful. Jenkees discovered how to sequence and layer music using his Yamaha keyboard, and began playing hip hop music. He joined a marching band in high school, and despite being unable to read sheet music, the band director let Jenkees create his own keyboard parts and "jam out" in state competitions. The band director encouraged Jenkees to read music, but he continued to play by ear^.

Musical career

Jenkees became enthusiastic about FL Studio after a friend introduced him to it. From about 2003, he began releasing beats and raps online under the name "Big Cheez". Under this name, he produced the 2005 album Straight Laced by Fish In 2006, Jenkees started posting videos on YouTube to entertain people, but he later began posting music-related videos. Jenkees felt that the "goofiness" he showed helped him "not feel like such a show-off". One example would be the video in which Ronald shows people "How to snap your fingers the cool way". His videos tended to feature him wearing a hat and greeting his viewers with "Hello Youtubes". His videos gradually gained popularity, and saw a boom in popularity when Bill Simmons from ESPN.com advertised Jenkees and asked him to record his podcast theme. In 2007, Jenkees independently released his first studio album, Ronald Jenkees. His YouTube videos continue to grow in popularity. In June 2009, Jenkees was featured on the STS9 STS9 album, "Peaceblaster: The New Orleans Make It Right Remixes," producing a remix of "Beyond Right Now". On July 31, 2009, Jenkees anounced via his Twitter account that he had released his second album, Disorganized Fun, on his website. It is currently available in MP3 format with physical compact discs coming soon.

The Game travaille activement sur son quatrième album studio, portant le nom pour le moment de The R.E.D Album. De nombreux producteurs et artistes sont déjà annoncés comme Polow Da Don, Timbaland, Kanye West, Rick Ross, Snoop Dogg… La commercialisation est initialement prévue pour cet hiver. Alors histoire de commencer à prendre la température du prochain opus du natif de Compton, j'ai repéré quelques vidéos de sessions live.

Le nouveau beat est arrivé ! Basé sur un sample de Chopin, j'ai réussi à bien me triper avec ! Le plus drôle, c'est lorsqu'une semaine après, j'attends ma chanson lors du défilé sur les Champs Elysées du 14 juillet. J'arrive devant la télévision, surpris... La je vois Nicolas Sarkozy en train de parler pendant que mon beat passe !
Bien sûr ce n'était que l'armée qui jouait l'original de Chopin !

Ryan Leslie est une fois de plus à l'honneur sur mon blog de Beatmaking. Voici une vidéo dans laquelle R-Les produit le beat Everything, Everyday, Everywhere présent sur l'album Loso's Way de Fabolous. On retrouve aussi Keri hilson en featuring sur cette vidéo.

Fabolous has always looked out. When my very first official single “Used 2 Be” was released, he lent his talent to a then unknown artist looking for a break. More recently, he featured on “Addiction” and showed up for both videos. When I heard his album was almost finished, I made it a priority to get him into the studio so that I could reciprocate his good will.
I picked up the talkbox the night before my SOB’s concerts. I’m still learning how to get the sound I want from it, so I’m always practicing with it in sessions. The riff I’m playing was just for fun and is only recorded in the video footage. Keri Hilson happened to be in an adjacent room and stopped in to hear what I was working on. Glad she was inspired to touch the record. Her talent is clearly evident. Shout out to Funk Flex, DJ Clue, Duro and Lenny S for appearing in this post and continuing to support me & NextSelection.

J'ai découvert le channel Youtube de RT l'année dernière avec ce son très soul. Même si il est toujours aussi bon, cette vidéo reste l'une de mes préférées car la vibe est vraiment différente de ce qui peut se faire en ce moment.

Ryan a toujours eut la passion de la musique et a commencé à jouer de la batterie à l’âge de 4 ans. A l’âge de 7 ans, il jouait pour son père à l’église. Peu après, il commença à jouer au piano en retrouvant pratiquement tout à l’oreille.

Sa passion pour la production et le beatmaking sont arrivés lorsqu’il est entré en Junior High. A tout juste 19 ans, il a le talent et le potentiel pour devenir un des plus grands beatmaker/songwriter de sa génération.

Ryan has always had a passion for music and began playing drums when he was four years old. By the age of seven, he was playing for his fathers church services. Soon after, he began playing the piano picking up practically anything he heard by ear.

His passion for production and beatmaking came about when he entered Junior High. Just at the young age of 19, he has the raw talent and potential to become one of the top producer/songwriters of his generation

Dans cette vidéo de deux minutes diffusée sur Youtube, Chris Brown s'est excusé, lundi, envers ses fans pour avoir tabassé sa compagne Rihanna, expliquant qu'il s'était à maintes reprises excusé auprès d'elle. La traduction est de moi-même pour ceux qui aimerais apporter leurs corrections !

Chris Brown avait été arrêté en février dernier, s'étant rendu à la police quelques heures après une bagarre au cours de laquelle il aurait frappé, blessé et tenté d'étrangler Rihanna dans une voiture de location quelques heures après une fête donnée à l'occasion des Grammy Awards, auxquels tous deux devaient participer. Chris Brown a plaidé coupable le mois dernier, et sa sentence sera prononcée le 5 août. Il risque cinq ans de mise à l'épreuve et six mois de travaux d'intérêt général.

Dans ce message il parle de sa conduite "inexcusable", tout en soulignant avoir été témoin de violences domestiques dans son enfance: "J'ai été bien placé pour voir ce que peut faire la rage incontrôlée", dit-il, ajoutant être "aidé" pour s'assurer que "ce qui s'est passé en février ne se reproduira jamais".

Et d'expliquer qu'il aurait aimé s'adresser directement à ses fans plus tôt au sujet de ce qu'il appelle "l'incident", mais que son avocat lui avait conseillé de ne pas le faire.

Four weeks after pleading guilty to assaulting former girlfriend Rihanna in a February incident, Chris Brown has issued his first public apology in a video. Addressing the camera directly while wearing a simple red shirt, the singer makes statements including the following:

• “I’m not going to sit here and make any excuses… What I did was inexcusable.”
• “I wish I had the chance to live those few moments again, but unfortunately I can’t.”
• “I am very sad and very ashamed of what I’ve done. My mother and my spiritual teachers have taught me way better than that.”
• “I have told Rihanna countless times, and I’m telling you today, that I am truly, truly sorry that I wasn’t able to handle the situation differently and better.”
• “As many of you know, I grew up in a home where there was domestic violence, and I saw first-hand what uncontrolled rage could do. I have sought and I am continuing to seek help to ensure that what occurred in February can never happen again.”
• “What I did was unacceptable, 100 percent. I can only ask and pray that you forgive me, please.”

BIOGRAPHIE

Cest sur les bancs de la reputée fac de la Sorbonne que Kilroy, Killa Daz, Desmon, et Young Pulse se rencontrent pour la premiere fois et decident ensemble de monter le mouvement So Fresh. Jusqu alors admirateurs des rappeurs influents du sud des Etats-Unis, ils decident de former leur groupe, afin de montrer a quiconque leur style et leur rap chantant sur des sonorites dirty south .

Tel un ovni dans le paysage du rap francais, leur but est d affirmer leur style de rap dans les oreilles, les boomers, et les ondes radios hexagonales. Avec un rap festif, tranchant, tantot denonciateur, tantot ambianceur, l eclectisme est le terme qui convient le mieux pour definir leur genre musical.

Leur objectif : devenir le pont entre le rap US et le rap francais. Car loin de se contenter d imiter leur pairs d Outre-Atlantique, les membres du So Fresh Squad font de l innovation leur principal cheval de bataille, grace a leurs textes, mais egalement grace au son puissant que met a leur disposition Young Pulse, leur architecte musical. So Fresh Squad, c est en quelque sorte l Entertainment US mixe a l effort lexical frenchy.

Leurs ambitions : "On travaille chaque jour notre style, afin qu'un plus grand nombre puisse le comprendre et le plebisciter. On peaufine notre formule secrete, en quelque sorte. Le beatmaking ! Avec cette vidéo, nous sommes dans un autre niveau de cet art ! L'un des meilleurs beatmakers / producteurs, Ryan Leslie. Il a l'habitude de faire des vidéos dans lesquelles il nous montre comment il construit ses chansons. Ryan Leslie est le producteur de Cassie et de ses propres sons aussi. Il a collaboré avec de nombreux artistes et dernièrement avec Fabolous et Jim Jones pour ne citer qu'eux. Il possède son propre label Next selection. J'ai choisi de poster une vidéo de Beatmaking plutôt ancienne de Mysto et Pizzi. Ce duo de beatmaker US originaire du Queens, NY s'est fait remarqué grâce à ses productions Rnb Pop avec Get dirty de R. kelly feat Chamillionaire mais grâce à leur remix electro club de Ciara ou encore Justin Timberlake. J'ai donc choisi cette vieille vidéo car on y voit vraiment l'évolution et la construction du beat. Si vous voulez voir des vidéos plus récentes tout aussi intéressantes mais moins explicatives, jetez un œil sur la bio qui suit et les liens qui vont avec !!!

Mysto & Pizzi are two up and coming producers, ages 21 and 22, hailing out of Queens, New York, who are quickly establishing a name for themselves in the world of Pop and R&B music. Voici une nouvelle vidéo de Beatmaking : S2KEYZ produit son nouveau Generation Deter.
Voilà sa description, faite par l'intéressé lui-même :

S2KEYZ, de son vrai nom Axel Banimba, est un jeune français née à Saint-Cyr L'école dans les Yvelines de parents congolais. Il utilise aussi comme pseudonyme S2 , diminutif de S2KEYZ qui signifie Singer - Songwriter - Keyz ( avec un z ! , ndlr) qui veut dire entre autre Auteur , Interprète et Clavier pour le piano .

Dernier fils d'une famille de Choristes , S2KEYZ baigne trés tôt dans la musique noire américaine , la soul , reggae , negro spiritual et plus tard le rap . Il passe son enfance entre les cités des yvelines : Valibout ( Plaisir ) , Cité Verte ( Saint-Cyr L'école ) , Aux Clayes sous bois mais aussi dans l'eure à la Madeleine ( Evreux ) . Ca ne fait pas de lui un enfant turbulant ou agressif , s2keyz sait se démarquer et trainer avec les bonnes personnes .

Et oui , durant ces années une chose lui occupe l'esprit , la musique urbaine . Il commence ses premiéres compos ( si on peut appeller ça compo lol , ndlr ) dans les années 2000 à 12 ,13 ans à peine au coté de son frére Janik Du 78 qui lui , se fait une bonne place dans le rap héxagonale .

Voilà un beatmaker français (Paris) que j'ai découvert sur Youtube il y a peu : JO A. Cette vidéo montre bien l'art du beatmaking et en plus ce mec est vraiment très inspiré, j'aime beaucoup ce qu'il fait. Il possède 2 keyboards pour tafer. Le premier, en haut, est un Edirol PCR 500, soit un modèle très proche de celui que je possède, le Edirol PCR 300. Le second lui a été offert par une maison de disque, SONY ATV, avec laquelle il a obtenu un deal.
